Your Music…♥
Is it normal for my heart to feel like this?
And I know that my smile can’t be missed.
My stomach keeps turning round and around.
And I can feel my heart falling to the ground.
I just can’t understand why I’m so drawn to you.
No matter how hard I try there’s nothing i can do.
Your voice, your smile, your music draws me in.
I try to look away, but with you my strength grows thin.
Then as you play me songs you can barely see,
The way your notes have captured me.
As I lay in bed the notes replay,
Over and over as my heart drifts away,
Into your hands, and you don’t even know,
That you have my heart wherever you go.
But still something takes away my joy.
She plays with my heart like its a toy.
Because she holds your hand and says I love you.
And you look at her and say you feel the same way to.
But I still see the smile as we sit in your room.
And you share with me your soul through a simple tune.
And I still wish upon every falling star.
That maybe one day I can be where you are.
Holding your hand and knowing you’re mine.
But as for now I’ll leave it to time.
