Risks Worth Taking…
My Heart beats faster,
As I read your name on my screen.
You have somehow mastered my heart.
And my soul you have seen.
I can no longer hold back my growing smile
As your words capture of me,
I can only hope this will last a while.
For it is with you, that I want to be.
People may say that I’m crazy
And they may not all agree.
And maybe I am just dreaming on daisies.
But lately you’re all that I can see.
So I step out and take my risk,
Without even a single care,
Into the air so very brisk,
Praying that you will be there,
To hold my hand and smile.
To comfort me throughout all our trials,
To remind me that it’s all worthwhile,
And to let me know that you here for every mile.
