You held my hand and showed me love.
And gave me hope from above.
I began to remind why people smile.
And with you life seemed worth while.
I told you everything and trusted you.
I never thought you could hurt me too.
But then it came the dark cloud of reality.
And everyone stuck in the dream of sensuality.
But I can’t stand here and pretend I’m not hurt.
But I’ll stand tall as the salty tears roll down my shirt.
And the blood begans to rush out of my heart.
Its funny I should’ve expected this all from the start.
Every time I think I’ve found something good.
So as the cut and scratches grow wider.
Catching me in your webs like a filthy spider.
But I’ll just smile through the pain.
And hope that I’ll find gain.
I’ll just lay here hopelessly.
And dream about something endlessly.
Hoping one day someone will care.
And show me what it is for lave to be shared.
But for now I don’t believe in the silly little dreams.
